Nature Taster days
Nature Taster days feature single-day sessions focused on either bushwalking or a selected adventure activity. Although not a replacement of the programs available, these taster days offer an excellent alternative for those who are unable to commit to a full program.
Our ‘Nature Taster’ days cater to a range of interests and fitness levels. These sessions are perfect for those looking to explore the therapeutic effects of nature, meet like-minded individuals, and enjoy a refreshing break from everyday routines.
Collaboration with Disability Organisations
Stronghold Adventures will proudly collaborate with all disability organisations, ensuring the bush and a sense of adventure is accessible to for all. How long do the sessions take?
The session times will range depending on the activity. Generally, it takes about 1 to 1.5 hours for an initial meet and greet, with adventure activities usually taking a minimum of 3 hours total (including driving to the locations). We can be flexible with the duration to best suit your needs.
How long are the programs?
Best outcomes are produced from programs that run for 8 sessions and occur weekly or fortnightly, although we can offer flexible programs depending on your specific needs.
What does a typical program involve?
Initial assessment through a meet-and-greet conversation. Get to know each other to discuss what activities interest the participant, provide information about the program, and create goals to strive towards.
Develop a draft program tailored to best suit the individual.
